MONDIALE SUPERMOTO: 3° ROUND TRAMATZA
SCHMIDT MANTIENE IL COMANDO DELLA CLASSIFICA MONDIALE
MARC REINER SCHMIDT È ANCORA LEADER DELLA CLASSE S1GP, NONOSTANTE UN WEEKEND SOFFERTO
Il Team L30 Racing in sella alle TM Racing Factory m.y. 2022 è tornato in Italia per il terzo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale Supermoto S1GP sul veloce tracciato del “Sardinia Circuit”.Marc Reiner Schmidt è stato vittima di due cadute nel corso del weekend, ma il roccioso tedesco non si è arreso ed è riuscito comunque a mantenere la leadership del Campionato del Mondo S1GP.Per il Campione Italiano in carica Elia Sammartin un altro weekend positivo con 3 quarti posti ed il conseguente quarto posto in classifica di campionato, a completare la formazione il pilota estone Patrick Pals.
CLASSE S1GP CAMPIONATO MONDIALE
Nella classe S1GP, In sella alle SMX 450 Factory Marc Reiner Schmidt ha concluso al terzo posto, Elia Sammartin quarto e Patrick Pals diciottesimo.
In gara 1 Marc Reiner Schmidt è stato rapido al via e si è portato subito in seconda posizione, al quarto passaggio è poi riuscito a passare in testa per ben 4 giri, sino a quando il riacutizzarsi dei dolori lo ha costretto a cedere una posizione, concludendo comunque al secondo posto.Elia Sammartin è stato autore di una buona partenza collocandosi al quinto posto, per poi conquistare da circa metà gara il quarto posto, mantenendolo fino alla bandiera a scacchi; Patrick Pals partito diciottesimo è riuscito poi a concludere con un buon quattordicesimo posto.
Gara 2 è stata corsa con la consueta formula “Fast race”, Marc Reiner Schmidt è scivolato al termine del warm up, ma è comunque partito al terzo posto ed al nono passaggio è passato in seconda posizione, conquistando al traguardo il secondo gradino del podio.Elia Sammartin è stato il più regolare: per lui il quarto posto sin dal primo giro; mentre Patrick Pals è stato protagonista di una caduta nel corso del quarto giro, che lo ha costretto a chiudere in ventesima posizione.
Nella super finale Schimdt è partito in terza posizione, mantenendola fino al traguardo e conquistando i punti necessari a mantenere la leadership del campionato seppur per soli 2 punti.Per Sammartin il quarto posto in gara ed anche nella classifica di campionato; Pals ha concluso la super finale al diciassettesimo posto ed anche diciottesimo di giornata.
IVAN LAZZARINI: “È stato un fine settimana di alta tensione, la caduta di Mark durante la Superpole ci ha costretti a giocare in difesa, l’impatto è stato abbastanza importante e non è stato facile per Schmidt correre dolorante, ma nonostante tutto siamo riusciti a mantenere i nervi saldi e portare a compimento 3 buone gare.Nota positiva del weekend è che siamo ancora davanti nella classifica di campionato del mondo.Ci riteniamo molto soddisfatti di Elia Sammartin, che ha concluso con 3 quarti posti, dimostrando ancora una volta di essere il pilota Italiano più forte in questo momento.Ora lavoreremo ancora molto per migliorarci ed evitare errori che mettano a rischio il campionato, il prossimo appuntamento sarà il 10 luglio in Repubblica Ceca a Vysoke Myto.Grazie a TM Racing ed a chi ci supporta.”
SCHMIDT KEEPS THE TOP OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
MARC REINER SCHMIDT IS STILL LEADER OF THE S1GP CLASS, DESPITE A SUFFERING WEEKEND
The L30 Racing Team riding the TM Racing Factory m.y. 2022 is back in Italy for the third round of the S1GP Supermoto World Championship on the fast track of the “Sardinia Circuit”.Marc Reiner Schmidt was victim of two crashes in the weekend, but the rocky German did not give up and still managed to maintain the leadership of S1GP World Championship.For the reigning Italian Champion Elia Sammartin another positive weekend with 3 fourth places and the consequent fourth place in the championship standings, completed by the Estonian rider Patrick Pals.
S1GP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
In S1GP class, Riding the SMX 450 Factory Marc Reiner Schmidt finished third, Elia Sammartin fourth and Patrick Pals eighteenth.
In race 1 Marc Reiner Schmidt was quick at the start and immediately moved to second position, on lap four he managed to take the lead for 4 laps, until the pain forced him to give up one position, however, finishing in second place.Elia Sammartin was the author of a good start, placing himself in fifth place and then conquering fourth place in the middle of the race, keeping it up to the checkered flag; Patrick Pals started eighteenth and then managed to finish with a good fourteenth place.In Race 2 “Fast race”, Marc Reiner Schmidt crashed at the end of the warm up, but he still started in third place and on lap nine he moved to second position, conquering the second step of the podium at the finish line.Elia Sammartin was the most regular: for him fourth place from the first lap; while Patrick Pals suffered a crash during the fourth lap, which forced him to finish in twentieth position.In the super final Schimdt started in third position, keeping it up to the finish line and conquering the points necessary to maintain the leadership of the championship even if only by 2 points.For Sammartin fourth place in the race and in the championship standings; Pals finished the super final in seventeenth place and eighteenth overall.
IVAN LAZZARINI: “It was a tough weekend, Mark’s crash during Superpole forced us to play in defense mode, the impact was quite important and it was not easy for Schmidt to run in pain, but despite everything we managed to keep it and complete 3 good races.Positive note of the weekend is that we are still ahead in the world championship standings.We are very satisfied about Elia Sammartin, who finished with 3 fourth places, proving once again to be the strongest Italian rider in this moment.Now we will still work a lot to improve ourselves and avoid mistakes that put at risk the championship, next round will be on July 10 in Czech Republic on Vysoke Myto circuit.Thanks to TM Racing and to those who support us.”
