MONDIALE SUPERMOTO: 2° ROUND ALCARRAS
L30 RACING RIBADISCE LA SUA SUPERIORITA’ IN S4
UN’ALTRA VITTORIA PER ALEX RUIZ NELLA CLASSE S4, MARC REINER SCHMIDT CONTROLLA IN S1
Il Team L30 Racing in sella alle TM Racing Factory m.y. 2022 è approdato in Spagna per il Gran Premio di Catalunya sul circuito di Alcarras, fondato nel 2008 e situato a Nord Est della penisola.Il Team L30 Racing è sceso in pista con l’obiettivo di difendere la leadership sia nel Campionato del Mondo S1GP con Marc Reiner Schmidt, sia nel Campionato Europeo della classe S4 con Alex Ruiz; ed al termine dell’intenso weekend i due atleti sono riusciti nella missione.A completare la formazione della classe S1: il Campione Italiano Elia Sammartin e l’estone Patrick Pals, mentre nella classe S4, Kevin Vandi.
CLASSE S1GP CAMPIONATO MONDIALE
Nella classe S1GP, In sella alle SMX 450 Factory Marc Reiner Schmidt ha concluso al quinto posto, Elia Sammartin ha concluso settimo e Patrick Pals ventesimo.
In gara 1 Marc Reiner Schmidt è scivolato alla seconda curva, ed è stato costretto a ripartire da fondo gruppo. Dopo numerosi sorpassi Schmidt ha concluso al sesto posto.Elia Sammartin è stato protagonista di una gara molto regolare: l’italiano partito intorno alla settima posizione, ha mantenuto la posizione fino alla bandiera a scacchi; Patrick Pals partito diciottesimo è riuscito poi a concludere sedicesimo.Gara 2 si corre con la formula “Fast race”, Marc Reiner Schmidt è partito al terzo posto, ed è stato in lotta fino alla fine per la seconda posizione, concludendo però al quarto posto.Elia Sammartin è scattato nuovamente all’interno della top ten, migliorando la sua posizione nel corso della gara e giungendo così al settimo posto; mentre Patrick Pals è partito a centro gruppo ed ha concluso al diciottesimo posto.Nella super finale Schimdt è partito nuovamente in terza posizione, ma non è riuscito ad andare oltre il quarto posto, che gli consente di concludere al quinto posto di giornata, fuori dal podio, ma ancora in testa al campionato.Sammartin è stato protagonista di una gara costante, con il settimo posto in gara e di giornata, Elia ha anche siglato il suo personale Best Lap in questa gara; Pals ha dovuto rimontare da fondo gruppo, recuperando dalla ventinovesima alla diciannovesima posizione.
CLASSE S4 CAMPIONATO EUROPEO
Nella classe S4 Alex Ruiz ha conquistato il suo secondo successo europeo ed allunga in campionato; Kevin Vandi completa il podio S4 con il terzo posto.
In gara 1 Alex Ruiz è partito al comando, alle sue spalle Kevin Vandi, i due piloti del Team L30 Racing hanno impresso un ritmo velocissimo alla gara ed hanno concluso nel medesimo ordine, monopolizzando nuovamente le prime due posizioni.In gara 2 Ruiz ha ribadito la sua superiorità, partendo davanti a tutti ed andando a vincere in solitaria, Kevin Vandi non è riuscito a partire bene, partito dal quarto posto è poi riuscito a superare un avversario e concludere terzo; in campionato Vandi è ancora al secondo posto.
IVAN LAZZARINI: “Un circuito veramente impegnativo quello di Alcarras, abbiamo vinto ancora in S4 con Ruiz, che ha ribadito la sua superiorità, Vandi è andato ancora bene ed è salito sul podio. In questa classe siamo ancora al primo e secondo posto in campionato.Per quanto riguarda la classe S1GP, per Schmidt è stato un weekend difficile, il tratto sterrato era uno dei punti chiave del tracciato, forse il più tosto fino ad ora.Schmidt ha purtroppo dovuto rimediare in gara 1 ad una caduta alla seconda curva e soprattutto confrontarsi con le agguerrite wild card presenti, tra cui il velocissimo Moreira.Quello che ci interessa però è che al comando della classifica di campionato ci sia ancora la nostra TM Factory.Bene anche Elia Sammartin, che ha concluso al settimo posto, siglando nell’ultima manche il suo best lap, ora Elia è al quarto posto in campionato.Ci vedremo presto in Italia, il 5 giugno in Sardegna per il terzo round mondiale.”

ANOTHER WIN FOR ALEX RUIZ IN THE S4 CLASS, MARC REINER SCHMIDT CONTROLS IN S1
The L30 Racing Team riding the TM Racing Factory m.y. 2022 arrived in Spain for the Grand Prix of Catalunya, on Alcarras circuit, founded in 2008 and located in the North East of the peninsula.The L30 Racing Team took to the track with the goal to defending the leadership both in the S1GP World Championship with Marc Reiner Schmidt, and in the S4 European Championship with Alex Ruiz; and at the end of the intense weekend the two athletes succeeded in the mission.To complete the team of S1 class: the Italian Champion Elia Sammartin and the Estonian Patrick Pals, while in the S4 class, Kevin Vandi.
S1GP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
In S1GP class, riding the SMX 450 Factory Marc Reiner Schmidt finished fifth, Elia Sammartin finished seventh and Patrick Pals twentieth.
In race 1 Marc Reiner Schmidt crashed at the second corner, and was forced to restart from the back of the group. After numerous overtakes, Schmidt finished in sixth place.Elia Sammartin was the protagonist of a very regular race: the Italian who started around seventh position, maintained his position up to the checkered flag; Patrick Pals started eighteenth and then managed to finish sixteenth.In race 2 “Fast race” formula, Marc Reiner Schmidt started in third place, and was fighting until the end for the second position, but finishing in fourth place.Elia Sammartin started again inside the top ten, improving his position during the race and thus reaching seventh place; while Patrick Pals started in the middle of the group and finished in eighteenth place.In the Super Final Schimdt started again in third position, but was unable to go beyond fourth place, which allows him to finish in fifth place overall, off the podium, but still leading the championship.Sammartin had a constant race, with seventh place in the race and overall, Elia also signed his personal Best Lap in this moto; Pals had to recover from the back of the group, from the twenty-ninth to the nineteenth position.
S4 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
In S4 class Alex Ruiz won his second European success and stretches in the championship; Kevin Vandi completes the S4 podium with third place.
In race 1 Alex Ruiz started in the lead, behind him Kevin Vandi, the two teammates set a very fast pace to the race and finished in the same order, monopolizing the first two positions again.In race 2 Ruiz reaffirmed his superiority, starting in front of everyone and going to win alone, Kevin Vandi was unable to start well, starting from fourth place he then managed to overtake an opponent and finish third; in the championship Vandi is still in second place.
IVAN LAZZARINI: “Alcarras was a really demanding circuit, we won again in S4 with Ruiz, who reiterated his superiority, Vandi still did well and got on the podium. In this class we are still in first and second place in the Championship.As for the S1GP class, it was a difficult weekend for Schmidt, the dirt section was one of the key points of the track, perhaps the toughest so far.Unfortunately, Schmidt had to remedy a crash in the second corner in race 1 and above all deal with the fierce wild cards opponents, including the very fast Moreira.What interests us, however, is that our TM Factory is still leading the Championship standings.Elia Sammartin also did well, who finished in seventh place, signing his best lap in the last heat, now Elia is in fourth place in the Championship.We will see you soon in Italy, on June 5th in Sardinia for the third world round.”
